Students talked about the forms: cone, cube, cylinder, pyramid, and sphere. Students also talked about how many legs a spider has. Students then created a spider out of playdough using the form sphere and also created what we call a “spidy kit”! They had a fun time!
Elementary students learned that a long time ago, people in Ireland used turnips and potatoes to create Jackolanterns! Students practiced how to destress before drawing on a balloon to create a balloon jackolantern.
K5-6th grade students learned about a chalk artist, David Dinn and then created their own sidewalk chalk art!
K4-6th grade students learned about fossils and then created their own fossils out of air dry clay.
K4-6th grade students learned and talked about Peace One Day, then created Pinwheels for Peace, which we will display in Peace One Day: September 21st!
K4-6th grade created rock drawings for the local fishing tournament. I painted a base coat and then the students used sharpie to draw fish. They all did a great job with sharpie, even k4!
